AUDIO / PHOTOGRAPHY INSTALLATION FOR THE SCHOOL OF LIFE - ON FAMILY
1 x 30' audio and photography piece with photographer Kate Peters and editor Dave Bamford on the joys and challenges of family life for the launch of this edition of the acclaimed School of Life series.
Families are a mystery. Is everyone’s as complicated as ours? Is there such a thing as a ‘normal’ one? We generally only get to see the polished exteriors and are left to imagine what might be going on behind closed doors. Here is a book that takes us on a tour around the reality of families. It provides a rare, privileged glimpse into private realms, allowing us a new, profound understanding of ourselves and others.

SIX-PART INDEPENDENT PODCAST SERIES
EDITOR'S CHOICE SPECIALIST NOMINEE FOR THE FORTHCOMING BRITISH PODCAST AWARDS 2024
WINNER - INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S PODCAST AWARDS 2024 FOR MOMENT OF BEHIND-THE SCENES-GENIUS
Lowlines is a sonic scrapbook and a passport to roam, following one woman’s pull to tune into the pulse of place - and befriending strangers along the way.
Feeling out of tune with the London business hustle, food entrepreneur Petra Barran brought an audio recorder and set off with no itinerary, guided simply by a hunger to get lower and closer to the ground. The series is a holiday for the ears, taking us to the heartbeat of New Orleans, the low-slung wetlands of Plaquemines Parish, the slow gyrations of the Amtrak to Tucson. It’s the brittle rasp of the Sonoran desert, the rich, volcanic soil of Mexico City’s Aztec allotments and the soaring jungle chorus of the Peruvian Amazon.
A co-production between Social Broadcasts and Scenery Studios.
